Found this gem cleaning my room last week – YMCA Celtics

First time at Barcade (EightyTwo) on Friday night. Pretty cool spot, but I would recommend getting there early because when we left there was a pretty decent sized line outside.

Had a bonfire with some friends on Saturday night. Haven’t had one of those in a really long time, so it was nice to be back.

After the bonfire we headed over to Snow Monster for some shaved ice. We had the green tea with almond jelly and strawberries, topped with condensed milk. So healthy, right?

Finally got to try Banzai Bowls in Huntington Beach last weekend. SO GOOD.

Pistachio Almond from Baskin Robbins is my absolute fave.

Happen to find this gem while cleaning out my room last week. *NSync > Backstreet Boys

Had dinner with the BFF at The Pie Hole in downtown. The pie was good, just a little rich.

Jenga at Angel City Brewery. Such a cool spot to chill and hang out with friends. Will definitely be coming back here.

Midnight bowling on Friday night.

Ended the night with some In-N-Out, FINALLY. Nothing compares to this.

Can you believe these boots are from Target?!

Regret not buying this leather fringe jacket that I saw in Phoenix on our way back home. If only I could afford it…

While in Marfa, we stayed at El Cosmico, which is a camp ground in which you can rent out trailers, tepees and tents to stay in (I believe you can even bring your own tents). We stayed in the Royal Mansion trailer and if you are ever in Marfa, I highly recommend staying at this place. We loved it! Definitely plan to stay here again if we come back.

Cabazon Dinosaur Museum

Finally made it back home to CA last Sunday, and it has just been a whirlwind of unpacking and meeting up with friends and family. I am happy to be home, but it was definitely bittersweet leaving Houston. Moving away from home has opened my eyes to what life has to offer. I am so thankful for the opportunities I had in Houston and for all of the people I met. Houston will always hold a special place in heart and I hope to be back to visit soon.

On Thursday we had dinner at Jus Mac in Montrose. Look at all of that cheesy goodness. If you’ve got a thing for mac and cheese, this is the place to be. FYI, the personal size was definitely enough.

We met some friends at Zelko Bistro for dinner. Highly recommend! The food was soo good I forgot to take pictures!

On Sunday, we finally ate at Uchi for happy hour. I am so happy we got to eat there before we left. We had been wanting to try it for so long, but just never got around to it until now. This was hands down, the best meal I’ve had in Houston. The food and the service was amazing. Definitely coming back the next time I’m back in Houston. Only advice I have is to go early because they are constantly crowded from the time the doors open!
